Mind Body Reiki Energy Work

Reiki is a gentle energy wellness modality that uses the life force energy of the universe, also called Chi in Chinese or Ki in Japanese.

A widely practiced complementary wellness method, Reiki is known to support relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being.

Reiki is a known source of beneficial self-care, which is helpful at all times, and especially when people are in a stressful period.

How Reiki Works

During a Reiki session, you remain fully clothed and are invited to relax comfortably while gentle, non-invasive hand placements and subtle energy work to support your body’s natural ability to restore balance.

In my Reiki sessions, I will work with your needs, your intentions, and your energy bodies. You will be invited to connect with your body, emotions, mind, and spirit for insight and wellness.

Reiki is a wellness technique to to support the body’s natural ability to relax, rebalance, and restore overall well-being.

Reiki as a Complementary Wellness Practice

Reiki is a gentle wellness practice that has been used in many forms and traditions around the world for generations.

Today, Reiki is increasingly being explored within research settings for its potential role in supporting relaxation, stress reduction, emotional well-being, and quality of life.  

While Reiki is not a replacement for medical care or standard treatments, some studies suggest it may be a supportive complementary practice for people experiencing stress, anxiety, chronic illness, recovery after surgery, or difficult medical treatments.  

Many people also choose Reiki simply as a way to slow down, reconnect with themselves, relax deeply, and create space for reflection, balance, and self-care.  

In my own practice, clients often describe feeling calmer, lighter, more grounded, and more connected to themselves after a session.

* Depending on the client's needs and request more than one session may be needed
* More complex client needs can take time for the shift to be felt and recognised
* Reiki works best when the client opens themself to the process and trusts

* Reiki is used in many mainstream hospitals along side of traditional medical practices
* If you do not want touch or other options offered express your preferences
* Reiki practitioners do not use their own energy, they connect and use Reiki energy
* Reiki practitioners can not read your thoughts as telepathy is not part of the practive
* Reiki practitioners may get insights into areas of your body or emotions to focus on
* Work with a well-trained, reputable practitioner
* Select a distance Reiki session where you can be in your familiar home environment
* Try more than one Reiki practitioner before you give up on the practice

* I have studied two methods of Reiki Work; Usui Holy Fire and Quantum Shamanic Reiki
* These two trainings total up to 100 hours of Reiki training
* Solid and varied experience through over four years of working with clients
* At the beginning of each session I go over what the client wants and needs. Together we plan how the session will flow.
* I am gentle in my approach
* My intention is to always work with the client's highest interest in mind
* I bring complementary knowledge in chakra work, sound, and shamanic work.
