Workshop 1 Description

The Mother Archetype: Resolution & Renewal


The Mother Archetype shapes how we nurture ourselves and others, our fertility or creativity and our protection of self and others.
Step into a sacred space of exploration of the Mother Archetype and its influence on our inner world.

We will connect, reflect, and draw to bring resolution to past hurts and to cultivate gifts from the mother archetype no matter whom they come from.  Gently we will explore our own inner feminine self and expore resources to strengthen that connection.

In this workshop we will:
• Explore and draw to resolve past hurts
• Connect with the mother figures in our life, no matter the role
• Explore the meaning of nurturing and protection for ourselves
• Cultivate self-connection and self-compassion
• Connect these insights to draw a new view of the mother archetype and ourselves

Workshop 2 Description

The Mother Lineage: Gifts, Challenges, and Wisdom


The maternal lineage holds both the gifts that support us and the challenges that shape our path.

In this workshop, intentional drawing will be used to explore the mother line across generations, bringing insight into inherited patterns while reconnecting with the strength and wisdom within the lineage.

In this workshop, we will:
 * Explore the influence of the Mother Lineage across generations
 * Gain insights into the patterns that shape your inner world
 * Connect with the strength and wisdom in your Mother Lineage
 * Choose what you wish to carry forward

This process supports a deeper understanding of our roots and empowers participants to consciously choose what they carry forward.

Workshop 3 Description

The Father Archetype: Resolution and Guidance


The Father Archetype is a powerful symbol of structure, strength, guidance, and autonomy. We will explore the influence of our understanding of the Father Archetype on our lives.

Through guided drawing and reflection, you will have the opportunity to bring resolution to past experiences connected to the father archetype, gain insight into how these influences shape beliefs, patterns, and our sense of support in life.

In this workshop, we will:
 * Connect with inner qualities of strength, stability, and guidance
 * Gain insights into the patterns related to guidance, structure, and support
 * Reconnect with your inner strength and guidance
 * Choose what you wish to let go of and what you wish to keep moving forward

The Father Lineage: Gifts, Challenges and Guidance


Our paternal lineage, including the men and women on our father's side, carries stories, strengths, and experiences that shape how we relate to guidance, structure, and support in our lives.

We will explore the father lineage across generations, bringing awareness to both the gifts and the challenges that may have been passed down through the paternal line.

In this workshop, we will:
 * Gain insight into inherited patterns
 * Explore the influence of the father lineage across generations
 * Recognise the gifts and challenges in the paternal line
 * Gain insights into patterns related to strength and guidance
 * Reconnect with the wisdom and support in the lineage

Workshop 5 Description

The Inner Child: Reconection and Compassion


The Inner Child represents the younger aspects of ourselves that continue to influence our thoughts, emotions, and reactions. In this workshop, intentional drawing will be used to explore these inner experiences with curiosity and compassion.

In this intentional drawing workshop, we will gain insight into how early patterns may still shape our lives while reconnecting with the creativity, openness, and vitality that the inner child holds.

In this workshop we will:
 * Explore the inner child's thoughts and emotions
 * Gain insights into early patterns and beliefs
 * Cultivate compassion and understanding for our younger self
 * Bring the gifts of learning from the previous 4 workshops to our inner child

Workshop 6 Description

The Soul Mandala: Integration and Wholeness


You are invited to create a Soul Mandala through the Art of Manifesting ™ drawing method developed by Collette Baron-Reid and Anna Denning as a way to integrate the insights and awareness developed throughout the series.

The mandala becomes a visual reflection of your beautiful inner self, bringing together understanding from your archetypes, lineage, and your inner child.

This creative process supports reflection, integration, and a deeper connection with one's inner wisdom and authentic self.  

In this workshop we will:
  * Create a personal and unique soul mandala drawing
  * Reflect on your personal journey
  * Integrate the insights from the Roots of Self Series
  * Connect with your inner wisdom and self-appreciation

Who is Debbie

I am a Holistic Coach who supports people in connecting with their inner wisdom to access clarity, and discover new possibilities in their lives.

Watercolour Supplies

For some of these workshops I will be using watercolour pencils on watercolour paper. This is optional. In case you want to try this medium, here are some supplies I have used and find satisfactory. Why would I use watercolour pencils, because you can blend them and soften your lines and colours.

The most important thing to look for in watercolour paper is the thickness, expressed as weight,. The thicker the paper, the better the paper handles the water without crinkling. Some bending of the paper will happen but with a good paper you will not get crinkles all over.

At the professional level, there is also the percent of cotton that makes a difference. These two options do not contain cotton but I find them fine for amateur work.

Strathmore Watercolour Paper

9" x 12", 12 sheets, 140-lb

I have used the Strathmmore watercolour paper and it is good.

Canson Watercolour Paper

9" x 12", 30 sheets, 140-lb.

I have not used the Canson watercolour paper, but I have used other types of paper by Canson and it has been acceptable.

I have Mont Marte and Artisto water colour pencils and they are very nice. I found these at my local stationary/art supply store.

I have not used this brand of watercolour pencils, but my regular workhorse pencils are Faber-Castell and I love them. Faber-Castell is a good brand but I cannot comment on this particular product.

You can also use watercolour markers, however, they have a strong density so they are much less opaque than pencils.

And you will need a small brush for wetting your medium and blending. Any inexpensive watercolour brush is fine. I use one from a kid's paint set. I have tried the Winsor-Newton brushes and they fine.

You can also go to your local art supply store and ask for their recommendations.
