Reiki and energy healing can help you take what isn't working and create a healed outcome that is communicated energetically to your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energy bodies. Reiki can also be used to reduce stress, and promote relaxation.
As an energy worker and coach, I use the methods to help you release tension, gain insights, resolve issues, and plan for the future. With intentional drawing we move from a topic you want to change to making the change happen on paper and in your mind.

The body is something that we need to be alive. Our lungs breathe in air, sending oxygen throughout our body and removing and releasing the carbon dioxide. Our heart beats, pumping our blood all over the body. We eat, we digest. So all of these functions are important to keeping us alive.
Our body is much more than that. We experience the world through our body, our five senses, taste, hearing, smell, touch, and vision. So everything that goes on in our external environment is processed by our body through the five senses.
An example. You're sitting, you're working, you're focused. Maybe you have a deadline. And every second, thousands of messages are coming to you from your senses.
But you're not aware of them because your body is sending this information to your brain, and your brain is going, don't need to know, don't need to know, don't need to know, thousands of times
Then a message comes through, 'Oh, my back hurts'. The brain sends that to your conscious awareness. Thousands more messages, then a message comes, 'I'm hungry'. The brain sends that to the conscious mind. Thousands of messages and 10 minutes later, a message comes through, 'I'm thirsty'. Your brain decides to send that to your conscious mind.
After three messages, all of a sudden, you look at your watch and go, 'Oh, I've been sitting here for two and a half hours. I think maybe I should take a break, stretch my back, get some water, and think about some food'.
This is how our body and our brain work together to decide what we need to know of the thousands, hundreds of thousands of messages that are coming into our body through our five senses every waking moment. We don't even know it's happening. It is really important to understand this for part 2, the mind.
Sensations come into our body. Our cognition processes them and decides, what do I need to send to consciousness? And what do I not need to send? So when messages are sent to your consciousness, your awareness, you now have information and you need to do something with it.
In the above example, first a message about back pain, then a message about hunger, then a message about thirst, and finally you decided to get up from the desk and do something about this. That is a simple example.
Let's say you're young in a family and not all your needs are being met. You are not completely seen for the child you are, the person you are. You are not completely heard. You have wounding happening because there are parts of you that your family environment does not allow to exist. And it's hurting you.
Your brain, cognition, is going to take this information and try to understand it, and it's going to create a meaning around this.
For example, you love dancing, but when you dance and ask your family to watch, they say, 'You're no good at that', and they walk away. You're six years old, and you're really wounded, you're hurt. Your brain will create a meaning with that, and the meaning may very well be something along the lines of, I'm no good at dancing, or even, I'm no good at anything, or even, My family doesn't love me.
There's a range of meanings that you could create. With your limited understanding of the world in your family and with your need to assign meaning to this action, you are going to create a story, and it's going to probably involve you not being as good as you should be. That's the meaning you're going to take away from it.
If this happens to you over and over again, you end up in a situation where you have a lot of stories and meanings inside of you, living inside of you, saying, 'I'm not good enough. I'm not worthy of being heard. I'm not worthy of being seen. I'm not good enough.' This affects your feelings of self-worth and your confidence.
When things happen to us that we can't understand, we assign a meaning and create a story around it, and we create the tendency to avoid that situation.
In my example, you're six years old, you love to dance, your family doesn't want to watch you dance. They want to have nothing to do with it, and they make you feel worthless when you ask for them to pay attention to your dancing. If this happens enough, you will probably create a meaning around this; I am worthless as a dancer, and you will create resistance to dancing. You will grow up, and you'll have friends, invite you to a dance class. Your reaction could be, 'No, I can't dance'. And It's going to bring up all those feelings of pain in you. You're going to resist because you want to avoid pain.
We are programmed to avoid pain and danger. Resistance is a key tool in trying to keep us safe. The other key tool is fear. Fear is like resistance, just a stronge. Something traumatic happens to you, and you may create huge fear around that event, even if you don't remember it.
The point of these three days of explaining how we work is that when you are struggling, when you feel stuck, when you feel this niggle inside of you, 'I am more than who I present to the world, I am more than who I am today, I know I am worthy, but I don't feel it. I know I can be confident, but I'm not. I know I want this, but I'm not good enough.'
When you have all these desires welling up inside of you to do something different in life, do something different with your life, be someone different, change something, get unstuck, get well, become the more resourceful, resilient, strong person that you know you are inside, but that's not who you're living. When you feel like a shell, when you feel like you're walking through sand and you just can't get anywhere.
All of this is because there is resistance and fear inside of you, created through situations that you lived through, that you experienced, that you didn't understand.
This is the absolute key to becoming who you want to be, changing your life, even small changes, small tweaks, or making big life-changing decisions. Listen to your resistance, listen to your fear, and start working through it. Those are the most important things you can do in your life.
Start today. The first step is the hardest. Then you do the next and the next.
